Sahara India Refund Apply Online

Here’s how you can apply online for your Sahara India refund apply online (government-run process) if you had money stuck in Sahara Group cooperative societies in India:

The official online refund process is handled via the CRCS Sahara Refund Portal launched by the Government of India’s Ministry of Cooperation for genuine depositors.

You can apply online if:

  • You invested in one of the four Sahara cooperative societies eligible under the Supreme Court order.
  • You have authentic deposit proof (receipt/certificate).
  • Your Aadhaar-linked mobile number and Aadhaar-linked bank account are active.
  1. Open the Sahara Refund Portal at www.mocrefund.crcs.gov.in-depositor
  2. Click Depositor Registration.
  3. Enter your Aadhaar last 4 digits + Aadhaar-linked mobile number and captcha.
  4. Get and verify OTP sent to your mobile.
  5. After registration, log in with OTP.
  6. Fill in your details and deposit info.
  7. Click Generate Claim Request Form and download it.
  8. Print, sign, attach your photo and other required documents.
  9. Upload the filled form + documents on the portal.
  10. Submit – you’ll get an acknowledgement / CRN number.

Helpful tip: Avoid mistakes in detail fields to prevent rejections.

If your claim had deficiencies or was rejected:

  1. Visit the Resubmission Portal – www.mocresubmit.crcs.gov.in
  2. Enter CRN (Claim Request Number), captcha and verify via OTP.
  3. Correct the details or upload missing documents.
  4. Re-submit your form.

This is only for correction/resubmission – not for new claims.

  • You can track your refund status online from the portal via “Refund Status / Depositor Login”.
  • Once verified, the refund is usually sent to your bank account within ~45 days after successful upload and verification.

Commonly required:

  • Aadhaar card
  • Bank passbook (Aadhaar-linked account)
  • Deposit receipts / Sahara certificate
  • PAN card (if claim amount exceeds ₹50,000)
  • Signed form with photo

The portal and the refund process are part of a government initiative under the Central Registrar of Cooperative Societies and are supervised by the Supreme Court to ensure transparency and security.
