A new job notification has been released by Electricity Department in West Bengal. Where it has been said that minimum higher secondary education will be employed in the position of apprentice in the power department. This recruitment process will be conducted by West Bengal Power Development Corporation Ltd. Any candidate can apply from West Bengal or anywhere in India. Both candidates can apply for this job. How To Apply:-
Candidates have to apply through online, candidate must have valid email id and mobile number for application and along with all eligibility documents of the candidate.
01. First visit the official website of National Apprenticeship Training Scheme and complete the registration process.
02. After completing the registration process, go to the Careers Section of the website West Bengal Power Development Corporation Ltd and click on the ‘Registration Form (Online)’ option.
03. Then fill the application form neatly and attach all eligibility documents and passport size photograph of the candidate.
04. Then complete the application process by paying online through debit or credit card.
05. A hard copy should be kept with you after the application process.
Candidate Selection Process:-
A merit list will be released based on the ITI number of the candidates. Then the candidates will be selected according to that merit list.

Post Name:-
Technician Apprentice and Diploma Apprentice posts of Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Electronics will be recruited in these Trades.
Salary:-
8,000 – 9,000 Rupees per month will be paid as stipend.
Period Of Apprenticeship Training:-
Staff will be recruited on one year contractual basis.

Recruitment will be done in West Bengal
Vacancy:-
There are 60 vacant posts in total.
Educational Qualification:-
To apply for the post of Technician Apprentice, candidates must have B.Tech pass in the relevant subject.
To apply for the post of Diploma Apprentice candidates must have ITI pass in related subject along with Madhyamik pass.
Age Limit:-
In case of both the posts, the age limit of the applicant should be within 24 years. But age relaxation will be given in case of reserved categories as per Government rules.
